A TOP German band, have are putting on a fund raising concert for Tewkesbury Medieval Festival.

Schelmish- it is German of elfish or mischievous, were a great hit when they brought their rock meets medieval pipe and drum sound to the festival in 1995 and 1996.

The organisers wanted to invite them back for this year's 25th anniversary celebrations, but unfortunately they were not available.

Instead they have offered to put on a fund raising gig for the event.

It takes place in the Gloucester Guild Hall on Friday June 20th.

Tickets at £10 are available from the Guildhall on 01442 503050, or boxoffice@gloucester,gov.uk.

Bill Hunt, who is organising the gig on behalf of the festival said;" They are a fantastic band, with a huge following, and I am really grateful that they are helping us like this."
