Residents invited to supper event

RESIDENTS in Tewkesbury, Coombe Hill and the surrounding areas are invited to a supper event tonight.

A range of local agencies, including the local policing team and councillors, will be there discussing what help and services they can provide.

The event will be held between 6.30pm and 8.30pm in the foyer of the Tewkesbury Borough Council Offices, in Gloucester Road.

Sergeant for the area, Simon Goodenough, said: “We’ve got a wide range of organisations coming along on the 20th. It’s a really great opportunity to raise any issues or concerns you have for your local area with the organisations that can help take action.

"There will also be a light supper for those that come along.”

As well as police and the local council the following agencies will also be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions: the Environment Agency, Neighbourhood Watch, N Power, Age UK, Trading Standards, Fairshares, Barchester Care Home, Highways Agency, Severn Vale Housing, Deaf Association and Safe at Home.
