Tyres of 12 cars slashed in Winchcombe
HUNDREDS of pounds-worth of damage has been caused after the tyres of at least 12 cars were slashed in a single street in Winchcombe.
In the majority of cases the sidewalls of the vehicles' tyres in Gloucester Street were punctured overnight on Saturday.
A black Vauxhall Zafira, silver Vauxhall Zafira, blue Peugeot 307, grey Mercedes C180, black Kia Rio, silver Skoda Octavia, grey Land Rover, blue Honda Civic, red Ford Fiesta, silver Hyundai Accent and silver Nissan Note were among the cars targeted.
It is believed the vandalism took place during or after Winchcombe Mop Fair, on Saturday night or the early hours of Sunday morning.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or with information is urged to call 101, quoting incident 155 of October 6.
