POLICE are trying to determine the last movements of a Worcester man who has been found dead in a garden in Twyning.

Gloucestershire police were called to an address in Twyning Green on Sunday December 27 after a body was found.

Although formal identification has not yet taken place, documents found with the body indicate that the man is 31-year-old Michal Wielgosz who had been living in Worcester for some time although is originally from Poland. He was last seen in Worcester around three weeks ago.

Mr Wielgosz, who drove a Rover 25 with the registration number BT53 FGE, was not known to the home owner or immediate neighbours in Twyning and police are trying to find out why he was there.

Detectives believe his death to be non-suspicious but are gathering information for the coroner and the family.

Detective Inspector David Shore-Nye said: "We have been in contact with Mr Wielgosz's sister and would like to provide the family with as many answers as possible about what happened to their loved one prior to his death.

"We want to know Michal's movements over the last three weeks and locate his car if possible. Ultimately we would like to find out what Michal's link to Twyning was if we can."

Anyone with information is asked to ring 101 quoting incident number 226 of December 27.
