POLICE are appealing for information after jewellery was taken from an antiques store in Tewkesbury.

The incident happened at the shop In Tolsey lane, Tewkesbury between 10am and 11.20am on Thursday April 7.

A black plastic and velvet tray was taken from a glass display near to the entrance to the shop. The tray contained 20-30 gold rings and a silver charm bracelet and charms.

The store is located close to the busy Tewkesbury High Street and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen someone running up the street carrying the items.

If anyone does have information, they should call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 135 of April 7.
