Craig's hat-trick highlight of County medal haul

ANOTHER set of brilliant results were recorded by members of Tewkesbury Swimming Club at the second round of the Gloucester County ASA Championships.

Six gold medals were won with 13-year-old Craig Skinner claiming half the tally after a terrific personal display that saw him finish first in all three individual medley events while also adding a silver in the 200m freestyle.

Nine-year-old Rebecca Sheppard continued to prove her form when capturing another two golds in the 50m events and the half-a-dozen successes were completed when Eli Gibney touched first in the 50m backstroke.

Sheppard, meanwhile, is now county champion for all four strokes in her age group at the 50m distance.

Harriet Rothwell, Isabel Compton, Will Gibney and Harriet Parker produced some brilliant swims to claim eight silver medals between them while Parker and Gibney completed the fabulous medal haul with a bronze apiece.
