PERSHORE Town bounced back from a crushing 5-0 home defeat against Bolehall Swifts with a 2-2 draw against Racing Club Warwick.
Gary Aldington’s side were in need of a response on Tuesday following last Saturday’s result and got it to sit 15th in the Midland Combination Premier Division.
Trailing 1-0 against Racing Club Warwick, Pershore drew level through Lewis Critcher and established their advantage after the break via Jamie Rogers.
Pershore held the lead until five minutes from time when the visitors grabbed a point from the King George V Playing Field fixture.
It was an improved display following the Bolehall defeat and Town will be looking to build on it when they entertain 12th-placed Lichfield City on Saturday (3pm).
The match is Pershore’s third in succession at headquarters.
