THE silver fish match on Boundary pool at Manor Farm Leisure was won by Mark Sparrow with a net of pole-caught roach and skimmers weighing a total of 20lbs 3oz.

He was followed by Rick Huxley with 16-0 of roach and skimmers and Mart Woods with 14-11 of the same variety. The section winners were Stuart Robinson (13-14) and Ian Lewis (10-8).

First winter league: 1 Vic Woods 5-11, 2 Robinson 4-15, 3 Sparrow 4-8; sections: Huxley 1-11, Lewis 3-6.
