A THURSDAY evening six-aside league on Pershore High School’s 3G pitch has room for new teams.
The Pershore Soccersixes runs between 9pm and 10pm every week for those over the age of 15.
They play 30-minute matches with trophies on offer to the league champions and runners-up.
A Soccersixes spokesman said: “We currently have two or three stand-out teams and would dearly love to provide them with tougher challenges and introduce new players.
“Teams can be of any standard — a side that already play together, friends or even drinking buddies from the pub.”
Spaces are limited and anyone who is interested can visit soccersixes.net and complete an entry form or call 07794-326984.
- Badsey Rangers will try again in the Worcestershire FA Saturday Junior Cup quarter-finals on Saturday.
They have a tough home clash with Athium Midland Combination Division One title-chasers Fairfield Villa, which was postponed last weekend, at Sands Lane (1.45pm).
Third-placed Rangers are going for the Stratford Alliance Division One title along with rivals Broadway United and Shipston Excelsior.
All the Alliance fixtures were called off last weekend with Broadway due to host South Redditch Athletic in the RM Smith Cup this Saturday (2pm).
Division Two high-fliers Badsey United have a rescheduled clash, heading to lower-ranked Inkberrow Reserves to do battle for a place in the Worcestershire FA Saturday Minor Cup final (1.45pm).
Red Lion from Kidderminster and Worcester Raiders meet in the other last-four encounter.
