Cricket sides in village knock-out cup

TEAMS can start plotting their route to Lord’s from the Yorkshire Tea Village Knock-out Cup first round.

Thirteen sides will battle it out to decide who reaches the regional final on June 16.

Area holders Bretforton, who beat Elmley Castle by 51 runs in 2012 before losing to Water Orton in the last 16, begin their defence at Harvington on May 5.

Offenham go to Feckenham and Bredon tackle Broadway, while Elmley Castle have a bye.
