PERSHORE Town came from behind to win 2-1 at Bolehall Swifts in the Athium Midland Combination Premier Division.

Nathan Thompson put Swifts ahead but Richard Congrave levelled when keeper Tom McNulty spilled Lewis Critcher’s long throw.

Matt Murphy grabbed an impressive win for Pershore, who host Stafford Town on Saturday (3pm), with a fine shot from the edge of the box.

• BADSEY Rangers held on to defeat Droitwich Cougars 2-1 in Ambassador Evesham League Under 12s Pool ‘C’.

Owain Hann went close twice before crossing for Tom Linley to score.

Hann hit the post with a penalty but then centred for Bennie Holyland to fire home the second goal.

Cougars pulled one back and a fine Ben Holland challenge prevented an equaliser.
