PRINCE Henry’s High School will represent Worcester shire in the Lady Taverner’s girls’ under 15s indoor cricket regional finals.

The Evesham pupils won the county tournament in Worcester and now hope to qualify for the nationals at Lord’s.

Prince Henry’s beat The Chase in the final after good fielding restricted the Malvern school to 35.

Two wickets fell cheaply in reply but Caitie Haines hit the team’s first six and guided Prince Henry’s home with Martha Farnworth.

They beat Malvern St James and Christopher Whitehead in the pool.

Prince Henry’s defeated Malvern St James with a score of 63, thanks to a personal best from Farnworth, in reply to 31.

Farnworth and Meg Willoughby took 15 runs off the last over to help Prince Henry’s beat Christopher Whitehead (55).
