THE first shoot of 2013 was at Childswickham Gun Club with Pete Hughes shining.
A competition of 40 targets was a combination of the HRS Perpetual Challenge Cup and MSS All Rounders Cup.
The first lay-out was based loosely on a conventional skeet but with fewer stations.
Hughes rose to the occasion with a score of 17-20.
The second lay-out was 20 targets sporting, incorporating one high teal.
Dave Andrews took high gun of the day with 32-40 followed by David Galbraith (31-40), Dave Lindup and Phil Clarke (both 30-40) before Hughes won the pool shoot.
