EVESHAM were on target with success in Wyre Forest Company of Archers’ annual tournament in Stourport.

The club’s 24th Portsmouth competition attracted record entries with 100 taking part.

In the recurve discipline, the ladies’ trophy saw Evesham’s Linda Haines edge out Sue Davis, of Redditch, with a final score of 558.

The Vale club enjoyed the junior categories with Alfie Wilkes (compound) and Emily Fletcher (recurve) winning their disciplines.

Wyre Forest won the team trophy with 2,237, closely followed by Evesham on 2,212.
