EVESHAM held their first qualifier of 2013 over the revised blue course now known as Wheelers Way.
Although a shorter course, with extra par threes, the competition was played off the medal tees, making a good challenge for all.
In Division One, Chris Richings scored a fine 42 points, beating Stu Walding (41) and Barrie Saggers (39).
Richings’ son Dan made it a family double by winning the Division Two title with 39.
Four players managed 38 and, on count-back, Gavin Griffiths beat Paul Jones to second spot with Fraser Williamson and Jerry Cain sharing the same score.
The Richings were also rewarded with a one-shot reduction in their handicaps.
