PERSHORE will have home advantage against Nottingham outfit West Bridgford in the RFU Senor Vase Midlands semi-finals on Saturday, February 22, if they progress.

The Wyre Piddle-based rugby side must first beat Luton’s Stockwood Park away in a delayed last-eight clash on Saturday, February 1.

The Midlands winners will progress to the national semis with the finals at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday, May 4.

Pershore, Evesham and Shipston-on-Stour were all denied by waterlogged pitches at the weekend.

The only game in Midlands Three West (South) saw Kings Norton defeat Southam 31-5 to move further away from Shipston and Evesham at the foot of the table.

Saturday’s fixtures see fourth-from-bottom Pershore host Old Yardleians, Shipston entertain Manor Park and Evesham visit Upton.
