ORGANISERS reflected on another successful football season at the Worcester and District Nursing Cups' annual general meeting.

The 2016-17 Junior Cup was won by Callow End who defeated Upton Snodsbury in the final.

The Minor Cup went to Clifton Rovers against Hizza United after extra-time.

Both games finished 1-0 at Malvern Town's HDanywhere Community Stadium with the winning goals coming from the penalty spot.

The finals were well supported, enabling the competition to make donations to local organisations and charities.

The Midlands Air Ambulance, The Talking Newspaper, Regency High School, Fort Royal Community School and New Hope all received £200.

For any team wishing to enter next season's competition entrance forms can be obtained from honorary secretary Trevor Hughes by emailing or calling 01905 768557.

The closing date for entries is August 1.
