Swimmers do club proud at county event

MEMBERS of Tewkesbury Swimming Club took part in the Gloucester Counties ASA meeting when a trio of swimmers struck gold.

It was an especially memorable occasion for Craig Skinner who returned home with three gold medals, while Rebecca Sheppard bagged a brace and Jess Bayliffe's win made up the half-a-dozen.

Harriet Parker won a quartet of bronze medals, while there were a couple of silvers for Harriet Rothwell.

Silver medals also went to Skinner, Jack Laughland, Alex Tailford and Eli and Will Gibney, while Isobel Compton claimed three bronzes - a colour also won by Laughland, Will Gibney and Phil Bluck.
