EVESHAM Youth Angling Club spent a windy Saturday fishing for the Ray Woods Cup on Middle Pool at Manor Farm Leisure.

Conditions were hard with the wind in their faces but Oli Johnson was pegged with his back to the elements and was able to tempt 31lb of carp to his net to claim victory.

Results, Juniors: 1 Johnson, 31-0-0; 2 Reece Grinnell 11-0-0; 3 Harry Stephenson 4-8-0. Seniors: 1 Dave Beasley 19-8-0; 2 Paul Williams 19-0-0; 3 Colin Townsend 18-0-0.

EVESHAM DISTRICT DISABLED CLUB EDDAC members met on a wet, windy bank side of Old Pool, Jam Factory, for another match in the summer season.
