LITTLETON manager Andy Robbins believes his side are capable of finishing in the upper echelons of the Midland Combination Premier Division next season.

The Pebworth Road club are getting ready for their debut campaign in the topflight after securing promotion as runners-up to Blackwood in Division One.

It formed part of a treble for Littleton as they also won the President’s Cup, beating Archdales 73 2-1 in the final, and the Evesham Hospital Cup following a 5-4 success on penalties against Bromsgrove Sporting.

Robbins said: “We have got a strong squad and don’t anticipate losing any players.

They are excited about being tested after promotion.”

Robbins is also looking for new players to strengthen the squad and is holding an open trial at the club on Thursday, June 28, at 6.45pm.

Littleton are particularly keen to offer chances to young players looking for their first steps into senior football.

Anyone interested can call Robbins on 07970-273115.
