FOURTEEN national records were broken as Evesham Archery Club staged a juniors competition.

Archers had 12 dozen arrows at varying distances, with the oldest shooting at 70 metres, 60m, 50m and 30m while the youngest shot at 30m, 20m, 15m and 10m.

Sally Gilder, 15, shot above her age group in the under 18s ladies recurve bow and secured first place ahead of two of her fellow Great Britain junior squad members.

Emily Fletcher finished second in the under 14s girls, shooting a recurve bow, and sister Harriet was third in the under 12s girls with a compound bow.
