LITTLETON took the early derby honours with a 1-0 win at Pershore Town in the Athium Midland Combination Premier Division.
Joe Lolley scored the Bank Holiday Monday winner for the visitors in front of 100 fans to continue their superb start to the season.
Littleton are second in the table ahead of Saturday’s visit to Racing Club Warwick (3pm).
Pershore have struggled early on and are fourth-frombottom but did bag their first win of the term on Saturday winning 4-0 at Warwick.
Striker James Rogers’ hattrick and Ben Hayes helped Gary Aldington’s side to an eye-catching, comfortable victory but they were unable to follow up with a result against their local rivals.
Pershore open their FA Vase campaign on Saturday at home to Wolverhampton Casuals in the first qualifying round (3pm).
Littleton previously drew 2-2 at home to Earlswood Town in the league on an afternoon of thunder, lightning and torrential rain.
They hit back from two goals down to salvage a point in the last 10 minutes with Jamie Clarke heading home.
Littleton made the early running with Clarke and topscorer Oliver Manouchehri going close, while Dan Trotman was a menace to the visitors in the second-half.
Earlswood went ahead on 20 minutes and added a second 10 minutes from time which sparked the hosts’ comeback.
