RIDERS and businesses are supporting two charities at the Cotswold Team Chase near Andoversford on Sunday, October 28.

Spectators will watch teams of horses and riders race over grassland and fences in Gloucestershire.

The annual event at Foxcote Manor attracts riders from all over the UK competing for a place at the British Team Chase National Finals next spring. It will raise money for the British Forces Foundation and the Countryside Sports Appeal for the County Air Ambulance.

The feature event, the National Team Chase Qualifier, where premier teams go head-to-head for a place in the English finals, takes place at 12.30pm.

The day gets under way at 9am with the novice class, immediately followed by the military event where the Loriners Cup is awarded to the fastest team on the day.

The intermediate class will round off the day where the winners of the Coombe Farm Wine National Team Chase League, for whoever has accumulated most points throughout the year, will be crowned champions.

Admission is £10 per car, including all occupants. For more information, visit teamchasing.co.uk or contact Janet Trotter on 01367- 870588.
