HARVINGTON secured promotion from Worcestershire League Division Three with a 50-run victory at Chaddesley Corbett.

Scoring proved difficult throughout the innings and any plans of declaring early were wiped out by some disciplined bowling from the hosts.

Change seamers Lee Ross (4-13) and James Towey (2-15) continued the good work before Steve McKelvie took the final wicket with less than 10 overs left to secure 24 points.
Cookley also got maximum points and remain three points clear going into the final round of fixtures this weekend.
Harvington seconds continued their fine recent form with a five-wicket victory over Chaddesley seconds.
