LADY captain Lesley Kewley won the September Trophy at Evesham Golf Club.

Twenty-seven ladies took part in the stableford competition over 18 holes with an upper handicap limit of 30.

Kewley scored 33 points with runner-up Jill Cleary on 30 points on count-back from Jean Bevan.

Meanwhile, Broadway ladies competed in their 10th EWGA Medal with Pat Green’s nett score of 74 winning the silver division from Lyn Chambers (75 nett).

In the bronze division, Debbie Donoghue finished two under with nett 73, while runner-up was Judith Noyce who scored a nett 76.

Thirty-eight ladies also contested the 12th medal of the season at the Vale Golf Club as well as both the veterans and senior veterans trophies.

Pauline Kay won the silver division and the veterans trophy with gross 94, nett 75, ahead of runner-up Rosemary Shufflebotham (93-76), who claimed the senior veterans trophy, and third-placed Lyn Robinson (89-78).

In the bronze division, Deb Langham won with gross 98, nett 76, Jas Bishop (102-77) finished in second place on count-back from Clare Bunn (99-77).

Pat Hird won the copper division with gross 109, nett 79, from Imelda Stapleton (115-83) and Pat Elliott (122-87).
