THE ladies from Bourton Roadrunners took centre stage at the Cirencester 10km with some inspired performances.
After her Guernsey Marathon success, Shona Crombie- Hicks was determined to perform over the shorter distance and she finished as the second lady in 38.36.
Darren Long impressed with 39.28, while Lucy Walmsley was second vet 35 in 39.44 despite illness.
Steph Lane’s time of 42.06 ensured the ladies won the team prize.
Elsewhere, Dennis Walmsley celebrated his 50th birthday with some brilliant results.
Warming up for the Snowdownia Marathon later this month, he ran a new club record time of 27 minutes 45 seconds for the White Horse Five-Mile, placing him as 1st vet 50.
He repeated the feat at the Bristol Half-Marathon, with a time of 1.15.44.
