EVESHAM Vale members rounded off the season in fine form. Mel Betts was 12th in her age group at the London Triathlon, incorporating a 1,500-metre swim, 40-kilometre bike section and 10km run, in two hours 49 minutes 13 seconds. Helen Seabourne clocked 4.10.

Betts was first in her category in the Warwickshire Sprint Triathlon with Sue Turner winning the over 65s category with strong performances from Jo Williams and Sara Cross.

Swimming training is on Wednesdays at Evesham Leisure Centre from 9pm.
