Leonard hat-trick fires United to victory

EVESHAM United secured a 4-0 home success over Newent Town in Cheltenham Youth League Under 14s Division One.

They opened the scoring with a move involving Bradley Izod and Ryan Reeves enabling Dominic Taylor to score at the second attempt.

Tom Leonard struck to make it 2-0 after William Warren and Dan Tustin won the ball and he added two more to complete his hat-trick following good work from James Noble and Jonathon Robinson.

􀁥 Evesham United Juniors kickstarted their Ambassador Evesham League Under 13s Pool ‘A’ season with an 8-0 victory over Inkberrow Eagles.

Jake Coley (four) and Jake Purcer (two) weighed in with the bulk of the goals with the former opening the scoring with a cross-shot.

Evesham passed and kept the ball well with Middleton and captain Will McGarr adding to the tally.
