Roadrunners enjoy success across the board

TALENT: Bourton juniors enjoyed plenty of success when they were in action at the Plock Court one-mile race in Gloucester.
BOURTON Roadrunners enjoyed success at the Gloucestershire County Cross Country Relays.
The club’s super vet 60 team of Brian Hulcup, Norm Lane and Robin Macdonald took silver, while the scratch vet 40 team of Richard Bufton, Chris Hartley, Hulcup and Lane claimed bronze.
Bourton juniors were in action at the Plock Court one-mile race in Gloucester with Dylan Williams winning the under 11s boys event in five minutes 15 seconds.
Max Pinkham second in 5.22 and Charlie Davidson took third in 5.44.
In the u13s boys race, Marcus Kiey Thomas was first in 6.21secs, while Isobel Kiey Thomas won the u11s girls event in 5.52, closely followed by Helena West in 6.10 and Emily Williams third in 6.39.
Gabby Jones won the u13s girls race in 5.35 and Isobel Harley took second in 6.10.
Joe Self, Alex Baxter and Peter Woods gave a good account of themselves in the boys u15s relay.
