Haycock's treble in Fairfields first win

BIRDSEYE Sports Evesham Sunday League newcomers Fairfield recorded their first win by thrashing Pebworth in the Bluck Cup.

Haycock (3), Vann (2), McCall, Williams and Palmer scored in the 8-1 success, while Ambi Allsports also won their first match, defeating Stratford United 5-2 thanks to Marks, Perry, Johnson, Sullivan and Jackson.

Sun Inn upset Badsey Recreation 4-2 with Will Major hitting a hat-trick for the Winchcombe side.

Goals from Greenwood (3), Beach (2) and Davies saw Alcester Town through 6-0 at the expense of Salford Priors.

Ashton won 7-2 at Vale Wanderers with goals from White (4), Begley, Shoots and Benardo, while Gould and Hall replied.

Offenham Rovers defeated Pershore High Old Boys in a penalty shoot-out after the two sides shared 10 goals.

Tustin and Burrows scored twice for Rovers.

Gary Dyke netted twice as Gardeners Arms came from behind to defeat Bengeworth 3-2, while Broadway United Reserves edged out Campden and Ebrington United.

In Division One, Broadway United maintained their good form with a five-goal win over Mickleton Rangers with Magee (3) and Craig on the scoresheet.

A Chris Mills double gave Honeybourne Gate Inn the points at Evesham WMC, while Pinvin United won 3-0 at Eckington through Bulford, Lamb and Bellamy.

Bretforton Old Boys reached the Evesham Mechanical Services Knock-out Cup third round with a 5-2 victory at Defford/Besford United as Baird notched a treble.

Bear continued their impressive start in Division Two with a four-goal win over Cider Mill thanks to Davies (2), Smith and Keen.

Doubles from Welsby and Godson helped Stour Excelsior defeat WMK 5-3 and Brain scored all the goals for Fladbury Athletic in a 4-2 win over Lenches Lions who replied through Evans and Burtenshaw.

Alderton hit nine without reply at Apperley/Tewkesbury Dynamos with Matt Greaves hitting five.

AC Olympia had an excellent 4-3 win at Bredon with Gill (2), Clayton and Quemby scoring. Carroll, Purser and Denton hit back with their side’s goals.

Cheltenham Saints defeated Tesco United 2-1 with Gibbs and Hope on target, while Williams replied.

Dragons ended Elmley Castle’s perfect start in Division Four, coming from behind to win 5-3 with goals from M Mullins, L Mullins, Whitfield, Wicks and Gisbourne.

Elmley scored through Bate, Smith and Cook.

Tewkesbury Town won 6-2 at Ecosamba in the Gloucestershire FA Sunday Minor Cup.
