It is about 7 miles north east of Cirencester, 5 miles from Fairford, 18 miles from Cheltenham, 9 miles from Burford and the A40/M40 access to London, 16 miles from Swindon with its mainline railway station (Paddington 58 minutes) and about 18 miles from the M4 motorway.

The village has amenities which include a shop, a primary school and a church. Bibury is also a well known tourist village, with the National Trust owned cottages at Arlington Row, a pub, hotel and Trout Farm.

The Cottage is situated in a quiet area of Bibury known as Arlington.


The garden lies mainly to the front of the cottage and faces in a southerly direction and includes a mixture of lawn and paved areas, interspersed with attractive flower and shrub borders. The garden is enclosed by Cotswold stone walls with a wrought iron gate opening to the front and further gated access to the rear providnig access on to The Green where casual parking is available nearby.
