A TEWKESBURY opticians has been recognised for delivering the best customer service in the Midlands region by national high street retailer, Scrivens Opticians and Hearing Care.

The branch in High Street received the accolade at Scrivens’ annual conference and awards ceremony.

Manager Lindsay Gavin, who has worked there for 18 years, said: “It’s great to win the Customer Service Award. I am very lucky as we have an excellent, established team and our customers are used to seeing a friendly face. We always put the customer first as we love what we do. The customer is always given priority and focus above anything else.”

Branches are ranked by how well they deliver customer service and this is based on a number of different factors, the most important being feedback from customers. There are 35 branches in the Midlands region.
